RADIAS Health is hiring two full-time Mental Health Practitioners to provide recovery-oriented, evidence-based services at our Crisis Stabilization program onsite in Minneapolis. The role supports adults with acute symptoms of mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders, working as part of a treatment team to improve quality of life.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work with 2,000 hours of experience, or 4,000 hours of supervised work in this

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work or 2,000 hours of related work experience with adults diagnosed with serious mental illness.
• 4,000 hours supervised work experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental illness may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop independent living skills (relaxation, conversation skills, housekeeping, budgeting, etc.).
• Provide staff coverage and ensure facility security and resident supervision.
• Complete all paperwork, reports, and charting contemporaneously and in an organized manner.
• Co-facilitate or facilitate psychoeducational groups or other programming at the facility.
• Administer medications under nurse supervision after required medication test.
• Conduct monthly house meetings for residents with the Certified Peer Specialist.
• Assist Therapists in developing treatment plans.
• Assist in orientation of new admissions to residential care.
• Identify individuals prone to behavior emergencies and assist therapist in developing programming.
• De-escalate behavior emergencies and tailor programming to client needs.
