Job summary

Primex Plastics Corporation in Richmond, IN is seeking a Credit Analyst to join the Corporate Office. The role, an in-office daytime position, reports to the Credit Manager and focuses on evaluating customer financials, establishing credit limits, and minimizing bad debt while supporting collections and order management.

You will work with Accounting, Operations, and Sales to secure timely payments, maintain accurate credit files, and communicate policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of work experience in accounting, credit analysis or administrative manufacturing support.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess credit risk and establish credit limits.
• Analyze customer credit information, including financial statements if provided.
• Support operations and sales with credit exposure control and timely payments.
• Conduct collection calls to collect accounts receivable and resolve disputes.
