Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Crane Maintenance Mechanic to join our Seattle-area team. You will inspect, maintain, repair and test overhead cranes across multiple site locations including Seattle, SeaTac, Renton, Tukwila, Kent, Auburn and Puyallup.

Applicants must read schematics/manuals, use mechanical tools, and ensure compliance with safety, SHEA and regulatory standards. This is a 100% onsite role requiring a US Person, with shifts across all calendars. Boeing offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, sketches, manuals and codes.
• Experience using hands-on mechanical tools to diagnose, repair and maintain systems.
• Ability to use fall protection equipment when working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, rebuild and test crane systems and subsystems per codes.
• Coordinate with management, engineers and vendors on design and capabilities.
• Read and apply schematics, manuals and procedures in daily tasks.
• Develop methods when procedures are unavailable and create shop aids.
• Operate overhead platforms, maintain brake systems, rails and hoists.
