Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Motive Equipment Operator to join our Facilities team in Renton and Everett, WA. You will safely operate forklifts, industrial trucks, and tractors to support manufacturing and logistics, loading and transporting materials while following safety and quality standards.

Must have a valid state driver’s license and pass fall protection training. This onsite role offers competitive hourly pay and potential overtime, with an IAM-751 agreement in place.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating forklifts (under 15,000-lb. lift capacity) or related equipment.
• 1+ years of experience moving and handling large loads and equipment.
• Ability to pass and complete fall protection training and work with heights of seventy feet or more and not exceed weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments from the dispatcher via radio or tablet for efficient task management.
• Operate motive power vehicles, including forklifts, industrial trucks, and tractors, to load, unload, move, position, and align parts, equipment, scaffolding, jacks, generators, tools, and materials.
• Manually pick, sort, load, and unload small packages, measuring up to ten feet in length and weighing up to thirty-five pounds, onto trucks, trailers, or dollies.
• Secure loads effectively using tarps, covers, slings, cables, and ropes to ensure safe transportation.
• Operate a small cargo truck to deliver packages throughout the site, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
