Job summary

Amazon is seeking an on-site Controls Integration Engineer for One MHS within Systems Integration and Flow. You will assist in deploying, integrating, and commissioning automation equipment, IPCs, PLCs, and networks, while learning under senior engineers to take increasing ownership of tasks.

You will work with technicians and contractors, follow safety and commissioning procedures, and contribute to documentation and handovers as part of a hands-on early-career role in industrial automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix

Responsibilities

• Deployment & Commissioning: support on-site activities for sorters, conveyors, and work cells.
• Troubleshooting: address device-level and subsystem issues and document steps.
• On-Site Execution: collaborate with technicians and contractors during installation and commissioning.
• Integration & Handover: assist with validation against specs and turnover activities.
• Learning & Development: develop PLC, networking, and commissioning skills.
