Job summary
Daifuku Airport America Corporation seeks a Controls Field Engineer to support SeaTac BHS onsite operations. You will be the on-site expert for the BHS control systems, reporting to the Port of Seattle maintenance team and coordinating with Daifuku’s engineering group.
The role requires interpreting electrical/PLC control systems, troubleshooting PLC hardware/software, and performing configurations for replacements.
Qualifications
- BSEE, E.T. or relevant technical degree or equivalent work experience.
- Two years of experience in industrial automation controls design and commissioning (preferred).
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC ControlLogix programming (preferred).
- Experience with material handling equipment (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite Controls Engineer support for BHS startup and operations.
- Make programming modifications when requested or needed.
- Monitor BHS health and implement changes as required.
- Coordinate with Port of Seattle maintenance team for system improvements.
- Work with Daifuku home office engineering team on issues and changes.
- Onsite schedule is five days per week, 04:00–13:00; after-hours support as needed.
