Job summary

Good American, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Controller in Beverly, Massachusetts, to lead our accounting operations. The Controller will manage all accounting aspects, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance while mentoring the accounting team.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in accounting with significant leadership experience and expertise in consumer products or retail environments.

This role requires being onsite four days a week, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with e-commerce/retail, consumer goods and inventory highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger and payroll.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy.
• Manage financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and implement internal controls and policies.
• Coordinate external audits and tax compliance.
