Propio Language Services is seeking onsite contract interpreters in the Cincinnati, OH area to facilitate accurate English–All Spoken Languages interpretation at various assignments.

Interpreters must be 18+, fluent in English and all spoken languages, and able to perform consecutive interpretation. Independent contractor relationship; completion of background checks and credentialing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional proficiency in English and All Spoken Languages.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages.
• Successful completion of applicable language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.
• Health-related or client-specific immunization requirements may apply.
• Background, security, fingerprinting, and/or drug screening may be required for certain assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with applicable Propio and client requirements relating to interpreter ethics, confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with privacy, security and data-protection requirements applicable to each assignment.
