Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Safety Manager for an on-site, short-term construction safety assignment in Hagerstown, MD.

The contractor position is 1099 and pays $60-$66 per hour with weekly payroll. Expected workload is ~50 hours per week across Monday–Saturday, starting November 19, 2026, with project completion around November 28, 2026. You will oversee daily safety on-site, monitor hazards, and enforce OSHA-compliant procedures with the crew.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Previous construction safety experience.
• Experience with commercial construction or installation activities.
• Ability to recognize and address jobsite hazards.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite safety oversight for construction activities.
• Monitor areas for unsafe conditions and practices.
• Conduct jobsite safety observations and communicate corrective actions.
