Job summary

BE&K Building Group is seeking a Safety Manager to implement the EHSP at assigned construction project sites, ensuring compliance and addressing hazards before they arise onsite with project management and subcontractors. You will lead an injury-free culture, develop safety programs, perform regular site audits, coach management and crews, and track leading indicators to improve regional safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience coordinating with management and subcontractors on safety.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and EHSP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain BE&K's injury-free environment culture.
• Develop career paths for safety coordinators.
• Lead pre-qualification processes with subcontractors.
• Coach management on safety leadership and practices.
• Provide trending analysis for project/ regional data weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
• Develop safety programs and site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular jobsite safety audits and share corrective actions.
• Monitor subcontractor selection adherence to safety guidelines.
• Maintain safety documentation and leading indicator data.
