Qualifications

• Five plus years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 510 - Construction.
• A degree in Safety or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be willing to work weekends as necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be able to perform independently with minimum direct supervision.
• Professional certification preferred (CSP, ASP, CHST, CIH, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Site safety observations and documentation of findings.
• Oversee all construction contractors on site.
• Facilitate corrective measures.
• Implement construction safety management systems with contractors.
• Lead weekly safety training on orientation, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and JHA prep.
• Provide safety leadership for new and existing projects.
• Lead daily contractor safety meetings.
• Conduct formal safety observations and coach contractors.
• Review contract JHAs for completeness and accuracy.
• Lead and participate in key safety initiatives.
• Promote client values: Motivate, Collaborate, Appreciate, Innovate, Relate.
• Collaborate with another Safety team member.
