Job summary

Big-D Construction in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a qualified Quality Manager to lead project quality programs, ensure safety, efficiency, and conformance with contract requirements and client expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management with several years of commercial construction oversight, strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management with 5 years of related experience on commercial construction projects; or 10 years of related experience.
• Temple project experience with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a plus.
• Advanced understanding of construction quality control and ability to manage and supervise teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement the Big-D quality control policy on the project.
• Coordinate QC plans with the project schedule and subcontractors.
• Assist Superintendent to ensure subcontractor quality requirements.
• Lead commissioning activities as needed and close quality gaps.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, codes and standards.
• Document test certifications and QC records accurately.
• Lead deficiency tracking and corrective actions with management.
