Job summary

Big-D Construction is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to champion quality excellence on a Temple project in Cincinnati, OH. The role develops and maintains project quality programs to meet contract requirements, company standards, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will lead quality control efforts across teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and precise documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management with 5 years of related experience on commercial construction projects; or 10 years of related experience.
• Experience working on a Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a plus.
• Advanced understanding of construction quality control and ability to supervise teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all quality control areas and ensure compliance with BIG-D Quality Control Policies.
• Coordinate QC efforts with the project schedule and subcontractors’ work.
• Assist Superintendent to manage quality requirements and commissioning process as needed.
• Maintain deficiency tracking logs and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Document QC activities using Procore and maintain accurate test certifications and records.
• Lead on-site QC presence and inspections, supporting project stakeholders.
