Job summary

Unified Business Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly experienced General Construction Building Inspector / QA Representative to perform onsite inspection and QA support for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center projects.

You will be part of a three-person QA team, conducting surveillance, documenting deficiencies, and coordinating with stakeholders. The role requires full-time onsite work in Bethesda, MD, with strong emphasis on USACE Three-Phase inspections, EM 385-1-1 familiarity, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction/renovation experience.
• Experience with USACE Three-Phase Inspection Process.
• Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge and documentation of deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform continual onsite surveillance of construction activities.
• Inspect and evaluate contractor quality-control activities.
• Participate in USACE Three-Phase Control inspections.
• Review plans and specifications for contract compliance and constructability.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, samples, and RFIs.
• Monitor work for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Document personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and activities.
• Maintain daily/weekly construction reports and punch lists.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and safety spot checks.
• Coordinate with USACE, facilities management, engineers, and contractors.
