Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a Construction Project Manager in New Jersey to lead projects from concept through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. You will oversee onsite activities, manage documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 8+ years as an Owner’s Representative, strong leadership and communication skills, and knowledge of NJ contract law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as Owner’s Representative across all project lifecycle phases.
• Experience with contract administration and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Knowledge of New Jersey Municipal Contract Law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite project representative overseeing project activities.
• Manage project administration including payment applications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Maintain project documentation such as daily reports and photos.
• Lead and document meetings including design, progress, and coordination meetings.
• Monitor schedules and budgets and report deviations.
• Prepare cost estimates and evaluate changes with estimators.
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Collaborate with designers, managers, client reps, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Adhere to safety standards and promote a safety culture.
• Travel regularly to project sites across New Jersey.
