Job summary

Actalent is seeking a contract-to-hire Construction Project Coordinator in Louisville, KY. You will schedule subcontractors, monitor on‑site progress and quality, and coordinate inspections and RFIs with the project team.

You will manage daily jobsite logs, track deficiencies, and lead weekly subcontractor meetings. A high school diploma plus 5 years in construction are required, with OSHA training preferred and proficiency in Procore, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 5 years in the construction industry.
• Preferred — OSHA 10 or OSHA 30‑hour courses.
• Basic computer skills for time entry and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedule subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work.
• Communicate with project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals.
• Ensure subcontractor is executing and complying with contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify subcontractor non‑compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and inform the project team for resolution.
• Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite.
• Ensure deficiencies are corrected and punched out.
• Walk units daily to monitor activities and assist future planning.
• Schedule and conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate the work.
• Communicate non‑compliance issues to subcontractors about quality or scheduling.
• Keep the job site clean and organized.
• Perform progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
