Job summary

C&S Companies is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager for commercial industrial projects to support the Project Management and Pre-Construction team in coordinating and administration of general contracting projects.

Areas of focus will be subcontract scope reviews, project submittals, RFIs coordination, contract support, change orders, scheduling, construction progress tracking and capabilities with e-construction systems.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specs, and scope of services.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, contract documents, and sequencing.
• Bluebeam and Procore system experience required.
• MS Project scheduling experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and team orientation with daily reporting to office.
• Ability to travel as necessary for assignment work.

Responsibilities

• Full time onsite representation.
• Assist Project Manager and Site Superintendent in project administration.
• Maintain project schedule including submittals, RFIs, and procurement.
• Manage submittal logs and coordinate drawings with subs and Superintendent.
• Coordinate subcontractor compliance with contract documents.
• Assist with scopes of work, bid package development and scope validation.
• Distribute change documents and assist in pricing reviews.
• Submit owner-required close-out documents and coordinate training.
• Record and distribute meeting minutes and logs in Procore.
