Job summary

Procon is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to provide full-time, onsite construction management and owner’s representative services in support of federal construction projects in Honolulu, Hawaii.

This role requires strong renovation experience, coordination among government stakeholders, design teams, contractors, and consultants, and a proven track record in managing occupied or secure facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, and/or construction.
• Experience with renovation and rehabilitation projects including waterproofing and building envelope systems.
• Onsite construction management experience including RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, and quality control.
• Experience with federal, GSA, courthouse, or government facility projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite Construction Project Manager and Owner’s Representative for daily oversight.
• Inspect work for compliance with contract documents, codes, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, pay applications, and project logs.
• Lead meetings, record minutes, and coordinate with owners, contractors, designers, and consultants.
• Support acquisition, procurement, contract administration, startup and closeout activities.
