Job summary

Paligen Technologies is seeking an experienced Construction Manager/Owner Representative to lead large‑scale, defense‑industry construction projects in Tampa, FL. You will work with EPC partners, GCs, and engineering teams to direct field activities from planning to commissioning.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and cost control on facilities valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. Experience with DoD requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience, with 5+ years defense-heavy or heavy industrial work.
• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans with scope, budget, schedule and resources.
• Coordinate EPC firms, A&E partners, GCs, engineers and subcontractors.
• Oversee field construction activities on projects typically valued at $200M+.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality programs.
