Optimized Process Designs (OPD) is seeking a Construction Logistics Supervisor to lead warehouse operations and provide logistics expertise across construction projects. This onsite role at our Katy, TX headquarters will supervise the warehouse team and guide field teams on material management, site logistics, and equipment coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction logistics, warehousing, or related field.
• Experience supervising or leading employees.
• Experience coordinating receiving, storage, tracking, and movement of materials and equipment.
• Experience working with multiple teams to coordinate logistics activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized construction logistics policies, procedures, tools, and performance expectations.
• Communicate logistics requirements to project leadership and field Logistics Managers before mobilization and throughout execution.
• Provide direction, training, coaching, and technical support to field Logistics Managers.
• Review project logistics plans for alignment with schedule, site layout, and client requirements.
• Monitor implementation through site visits, audits, and performance reporting; document gaps and actions.
• Establish consistent methods for material receiving, identification, storage, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Construction, Project Management, Procurement, Safety, and Quality to resolve logistics risks.
• Review look-ahead schedules and site constraints to identify issues early.
• Develop and monitor logistics performance measures and flag risks to leadership.
• Promote sharing of lessons learned to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Assist in selecting and onboarding field Logistics Managers and staff.
• Travel up to 25% based on project needs.
