Optimized Process Designs LLC (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Construction Logistics Supervisor to lead warehouse operations and provide logistics expertise across our construction projects.

The role supervises the warehouse team and partners with field leadership to establish logistics practices, address challenges, and ensure materials and resources support safe, efficient project execution at our Katy, TX headquarters.

Formación

• Experience in construction logistics, material management, warehousing, or a related field.
• Experience supervising or leading employees.
• Experience coordinating receiving, storage, tracking, or distribution of materials and equipment.

• Communicate logistics requirements to project leadership and field Logistics Managers before mobilization and throughout project execution.
• Provide direction, training, coaching, and technical support to field Logistics Managers and logistics personnel.
• Review project logistics plans to confirm alignment with schedule, site layout, material flow, equipment needs, staffing, and client requirements.
• Monitor implementation through routine project reviews, field visits, audits, and performance reporting; document gaps and track corrective actions.

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Construction Logistics Supervisor to lead warehouse operations and provide logistics expertise across our construction projects. This role will directly supervise the warehouse team while serving as a key resource for field teams, providing guidance and support on material management, site logistics, equipment coordination, and other logistics-related needs. Working closely with construction, project, procurement, and field leadership, this individual will help establish consistent logistics practices, proactively address challenges, and ensure materials and resources are positioned to support safe and efficient project execution.

This role will sit onsite at our headquarters in Katy, TX Monday - Friday.

This role is not open to Visa sponsorship.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain standardized construction logistics policies, procedures, tools, and performance expectations for field projects.
• Communicate logistics requirements to project leadership and field Logistics Managers before mobilization and throughout project execution.
• Provide direction, training, coaching, and technical support to field Logistics Managers and logistics personnel.
• Review project logistics plans to confirm alignment with the construction schedule, site layout, material flow, equipment needs, staffing, and client requirements.
• Monitor implementation through routine project reviews, field visits, audits, and performance reporting; document gaps and track corrective actions to completion.
• Establish consistent methods for material receiving, identification, storage, preservation, tracking, issuance, transfer, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Construction, Project Management, Procurement, Fabrication, Safety, Quality, and other support groups to resolve logistics risks affecting field execution.
• Review look-ahead schedules, long-lead equipment status, delivery plans, crane and subcontractor needs, and site constraints to identify issues before they affect the work.
• Develop and monitor logistics performance measures, identify trends, and communicate significant risks and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Promote sharing of lessons learned and proven practices between projects to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Support the selection and onboarding of field Logistics Managers and verify that logistics teams are appropriately staffed and qualified for project needs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in construction logistics, material management, warehousing, or a related field
• Experience supervising or leading employees
• Experience coordinating the receiving, storage, tracking, movement, and/or distribution of materials and equipment
• Experience working with multiple teams to coordinate logistics activities and resolve issues
• Experience using inventory or material tracking systems
• Ability to travel 25% based on project needs

• Experience developing or improving logistics processes and procedures
