You will review drawings and specifications, solicit bids, collaborate with project managers, and track costs to help keep projects on budget. This role offers a stable, full-time onsite position with exposure to diverse construction projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (commercial and/or residential).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local market pricing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate projections
• Track project costs and assist with budget control
