Job summary

Leidos is seeking a ConMon Analyst to oversee and monitor authorized IT systems throughout their lifecycle for security posture impact. This on-site role is based in Alexandria, VA and requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility prior to start.

You will analyze proposed or actual system changes to determine security impact, assess controls, and support continuous monitoring using Axonius, Splunk, ACAS, Microsoft Defender, and HBSS/ESS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field preferred with 4+ years in cybersecurity or network security.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required before start.
• Current DoD 8570 IAM II or IAT II certification.
• High-level understanding of Splunk with dashboards and related skills.
• Understanding of RMF process, NIST SP 800-37/53, CNSSI 1253.

Responsibilities

• Analyze proposed or actual system changes to determine security impact and assess controls.
• Utilize Axonius, Splunk, ACAS, Microsoft Defender, HBSS/ESS to monitor security controls and support authorization.
• Develop and maintain DISA RE5 ConMon SOP and strategy.
• Conduct continuous security assessments and provide status reports based on live monitoring data.
• Design dashboards and alerts to notify on anomalous activities and threat detections.
• Ensure ConMon controls are implemented in RMF packages within eMASS and compliant with standards.
