Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for an on-site leadership role at a residential community in Bellevue, WA. You will oversee daily operations, manage cash flow, and lead staff under the Community Manager, ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The position emphasizes delinquency and rent collection, financial oversight, and coordination of leasing, maintenance, and risk management to support financial performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years in housing industry or equivalent experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under Community Manager supervision.
• Post payments and income accurately from applicants and residents; process accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, and handle evictions as needed.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Supervise staff, provide coaching and training to onsite team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
