Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Collateral Analyst Team Lead to create, maintain, and analyze large datasets and reports supporting collateral operations in our Orange, CA office. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with management, investors, custodians, and vendors to optimize processes and ensure accurate collateral certification.

The role emphasizes escalation management, data querying, and proactive remediation of collateral exceptions, with a pay range of $30.00-$32.00

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience.
• Advanced knowledge of collateral file documentation.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry terminology.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and four to six years of mortgage collateral document experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first level of escalation for matters requiring resolution.
• Analyze issues, identify solutions, and ensure timely resolutions.
• Improve processes and execution of daily collateral Analyst operations.
• Train and mentor junior staff as needed.
• Manage data preparation, analysis, and reporting for collateral movements and exceptions.
