Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services in Orange, CA is seeking a Collateral Analyst to audit collateral file documentation, resolve exceptions, and manage an assigned workflow using multiple data sources and tools to ensure accurate reporting and timely reconciliation of pools.

You will work onsite in Orange, CA, collaborate with custodians, vendors, and clients, and provide data-driven insights to senior management while adhering to policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years related collateral, report development, data analysis, mortgage loss mitigation, and/or curing documentation.
• Title Curative, Final certification and re-pooling experience a plus.
• onsite position in Orange, CA.

Responsibilities

• Audit loan level collateral file documentation, exceptions, and inventory across custodians.
• Resolve and correct exceptions related to missing, incorrect, or unusable documents.
• Serve as point of contact for pool and collateral level exception resolution.
• Track and monitor file location and movement using database systems.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, monthly status reporting of pools and collateral data.
• Prepare data for reporting to senior management on pipelines and processes.
