Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services Community is hiring CNAs for our Ventana location in Dallas, TX. The role supports residents daily with care plans, monitors vital signs, and helps with mobility and daily activities. The position is an onsite, 12-hour shift role.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas CNA certification, CPR certification, and a GED or high school diploma, with preferred one-year related experience or Buckner training. Buckner emphasizes compassionate care and not-for-profit service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or Buckner training.
• Knowledge of basic health care practices and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans to ensure resident care is the best possible.
• Engage with residents, provide comfort, assist with daily living needs and transport.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents and contribute to community harmony.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks and safety procedures.
• Safely lift and reposition residents as needed.
• Provide adjunct patient care as required.
• Monitor changes in resident behavior and inform shift leaders.
