Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services — Baptist Retirement Community in San Angelo, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for full-time, onsite day shifts. You will assist with care plans, document ADLs, support safety, cleanliness, and comfort for residents, work with a compassionate team, respond promptly to calls, and help with daily activities.

Required: High School diploma or GED, Texas Nurse Aide Certification, CPR/First Aid, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

Texas Nurse Aide Certification required.
CPR/First Aid certification required.
Minimum one year related experience required.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing most of the shift.

Responsibilities

Assist with the implementation of the prescribed health care plan.
Make resident rounds to check comfort, safety, and cleanliness.
Provide care and treatment including bathing, feeding, oral care, and ADL documentation.
Perform cleaning/sanitary tasks and maintain equipment.
Document ADLs, intakes/outputs accurately.
Assist with grooming, dining, and safe resident handling.
Support restorative measures and participate in activities.
Handle communications and orders at nursing station as needed.
