Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a temporary assignment in Big Bear Lake, CA. The role supports a licensed provider in a primary care setting and will be onsite full-time during a leave of absence.

You will perform clinical, administrative, and clerical tasks, maintain EHR entries, and ensure room readiness and sanitation. The assignment runs 11/23/2026 to 2/15/2027 with a 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required or able to obtain CMA within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication with patients and team; proficient computer use.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, medications, and vitals and document in EHR.
• Perform front desk duties: calls, patient info, check-in/out, scheduling support.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure stocked supplies.
• Maintain inventory of medications and medical supplies.
• Assist with quality control, logs, and compliance.
• Provide patient education as directed by the Provider.
• Document orders and facilitate referrals in EMR system.
• Process prescriptions and refills as directed by the Provider.
• Support provider with documentation and data gathering for programs.
