Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an Associate Clinical Trials Specimen Management Technician to perform daily CTSM Lab operations, including routine handling, shipping, and storage of specimens in Rochester, NY. The role requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards, accurate data entry into the ACM system, and communication with internal teams to ensure timely analysis and compliant shipping.

The position is full-time, onsite, with a 40-hour work week and a Tue–Sat schedule,

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences or related preferred.
• Strong data entry skills and basic computer program proficiency.
• Physically able to stand 3-4 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Distributes specimens to appropriate department for prompt analysis.
• Open shipping packages and manage shipper items.
• Enter receipt information into ACM system.
• Print referral manifests and pack specimens to reference laboratories.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment and monitor temperature.
• Comply with FDA, NYSDOH, GCP, IATA regulations.
