Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator. This full-time, day-shift position oversees nursing leadership for clinical research studies, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements; some travel to Germantown, MD may be required.

Candidates must hold a Maryland (or compact) RN license; BSN or MSN preferred. Three+ years of nursing with at least one year in coordinating clinical research; GCP and

Qualifications

• Current Maryland or compact state RN license is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; BSN or MSN strongly preferred.
• Clinical Research Certification preferred.
• GCP Certification preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• Active Driver License is required.
• Three or more years of nursing experience; active practice within the past 5 years preferred.
• One or more years of experience leading or coordinating clinical research studies required.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate research programs and studies.
• Provide nursing leadership in accordance with protocol requirements and physician orders.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and sponsor guidelines.
• Support Holy Cross Hospital Clinical Research Program and physician Principal Investigators.
• Coordinate activities of multidisciplinary research teams and maintain patient confidentiality.
