Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Kane, PA. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life in line with patient goals.

Responsibilities include providing nutritional guidance to the care team, adhering to professional practice standards, and helping develop dining service policies. Requires licensure/certification and ongoing CE credits.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants on nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
