Job summary

Trans Ash, Inc. is seeking Civil Engineering Co-ops to work onsite on a large civil construction project. The role includes exposure to operations, quality, project controls, and surveying tasks across multiple locations in AL and NC.

Relocation assistance is provided. Responsibilities include document management, RFIs and submittal reviews, quality inspections, cost and schedule tracking, and basic GPS surveying using Propeller.

Qualifications

• Co-op students must be pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations, Quality, Project Controls and Surveying on a daily basis.
• Document management, RFIs, submittal review, and redline drawings.
• Perform quality inspections and document quality reporting.
• Assist with cost reviews, schedule management and commodity reporting.
• Perform basic GPS as-built surveying and grade verification.
