Job summary

Trans Ash Inc. is seeking Civil Engineering Co-ops for paid, onsite roles at a large civil construction project. Positions may relocate to Bucks, AL; Quinton, AL; Sherills Ford, NC; Semora, NC, with relocation assistance provided.

You will support Operations, Quality, Project Controls, and Surveying, handling RFIs, submittals, progress tracking, GPS surveying, and basic analysis while gaining field exposure and real project impact.

Qualifications

• Co-op students must be seeking a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in all types of weather
• Must be physically able to perform outdoor work in hot/cold conditions
• Must be able to work in a construction environment
• Must be able to walk slopes and uneven terrain
• Must pass drug test, MVR, and background check
• Valid driver’s license and age 18+

• Document management (RFIs, submittal review, redline drawings)
• Production and cycle time management
• Quantity tracking
• Site reporting
• Perform Quality Inspections
• Document Quality reporting
• Construction drawing and specification reviews
• Cost reviews and tracking
• Schedule management
• Commodity reporting
• Perform basic GPS as-built surveying
• Basic quantitative analysis using Propeller and GPS
