The Child Meal Programming Coordinator at Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is an onsite, full‑time role based in Verona or Charlottesville. You will manage data entry, records, inventory tracking, and purchasing coordination to support child nutrition programs.

You will liaise with partners, volunteers and departments, monitor deadlines, and ensure regulatory compliance while balancing administrative tasks and program needs.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programs, logistics, or operational activities in a professional setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to enter, track, organize, and report data accurately.
• Clear, effective, and professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to work with databases, spreadsheets, and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and balance recurring administrative responsibilities with program needs in both office and field settings.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Travel throughout the Food Bank's service area is required, including occasional evening and weekend hours.
