Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Chemical Loader for an on-site role in Victoria, TX. This hourly craft position loads chemicals into or from tanks, trailers, rail cars or other containers and supports related duties across industrial sites.

The role requires responsibility for following safety procedures, using PPE, and performing routine equipment checks. Candidates should have a TWIC card and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1+ years' experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• TWIC Card and Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper procedures for loading or onloading of chemicals.
• Pumps liquid chemicals, liquid petroleum products into or from tank cars, trucks, or barges.
• Verifies tank car numbers with loading instructions for accurate placement.
• Connects ground cable to carry off static electricity.
• Inspects interior for cleanliness and exterior for leaks or damage.
• Sets valves and spouts to admit liquids to tanks and seals outlet valves.
