Qualifikationen

• PTEC degree preferred.
• TWIC Card and Driver's License required.
• 1+ years' experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and wearing PPE as required.

Aufgaben

• Follows proper procedures for loading or onloading chemicals.
• Pumps liquids into or from tank cars, trucks, or barges.
• Verifies tank car numbers with loading instructions.
• Connects ground cable to dissipate static electricity.
• Removes and/or replaces dome caps with appropriate tools.
• Inspects interior for cleanliness and exterior for leaks or damage.
• Lowers gauge rod or reads meter to verify volumes loaded.
• Seals outlet valves on cars and secures hoses during unloading.
• Starts pumps or opens valves to move liquids to storage tanks.
• May test samples for specific gravity and record readings.
• Complies with safety procedures and uses PPE at all times.
