Job summary

Off the Grid is seeking an Onsite Catering Event Producer (OCEP) for a part-time role in the Bay Area. The position drives on-site execution and event logistics for our mobile catering events, partnering with a team and reporting to the Assistant Catering Production Manager.

The ideal candidate is logistically minded and detail oriented, with a hospitality-focused communication style to build trusting client relationships and provide exceptional service, even under pressure and with changing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of event planning and/or catering experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience supervising support or service staff preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Travel: 90% of the time.
• Reliable transportation to and from home, office, and events.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Pre-Production handoff meetings to discuss event details (client and venue contacts, permitting, timelines, rentals, service staff, overages).
• Onsite execution: vendor management, parking, setup/breakdown, onsite service staff, interior buffets, and communication with client/venue managers.
• Post-Production: may participate in post-event debriefs with related managers.
