Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Catering & Conference Coordinator to be the primary contact for meeting planners and ensure flawless event execution. You will support Meeting Services, Facilities, and related teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences on site.

Responsibilities include supervising temporary staff, coordinating equipment and room setups, reviewing BEOs, and maintaining high standards for lighting, temperature, cleanliness, and digital functionality in the Congress

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• College degree or hospitality-related degree preferred
• 1 year minimum experience in 500+ room Resort/Hotel preferred
• Must obtain Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM) and Health card, plus other required certifications
• Working knowledge of meeting room sets and basic catering functions
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, MS Outlook; EBMS and Social Tables preferred
• Able to read and interpret BEOs, GTD sheets, and client specs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse teams
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure general appearance and condition of Congress Center; report maintenance issues
• Collaborate with Meeting Services, Facilities, and PAD to coordinate spaces for an outstanding Meeting Experience
• Supervise temporary staff and ensure professional conduct and adherence to standards
• Respond quickly to client requests with urgency and a guest-service focus
• Maintain team culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
• Communicate daily Escalator Schedules and create custom schedules as needed
• Coordinate equipment rentals and create BEOs for charges
• Post reports to other departments as assigned
• Perform other related duties as assigned
