Job summary

ZEISS in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Calibration Technician to coordinate calibration, maintenance, inventory control, and record management of Measurement and Test Equipment across the organization. Work with internal customers, calibration providers, and equipment suppliers to maintain compliance and data accuracy.

You will support ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 systems, ensure equipment is properly identified, complete, and ready for use, and contribute to continuous improvement in calibration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with inventory management and database maintenance.
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard work activities that support calibration recall events.
• Maintain the gage calibration system and ensure all Measurement and Test Equipment information is entered accurately and on time.
• Support inventory control activities for Measurement and Test Equipment and related accessories.
• Support the design and implementation of equipment protection measures.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities within assigned work areas.
• Provide data and support to internal customers for retrieving equipment records.
• Ensure Measurement and Test Equipment and related accessories are properly identified, complete, and ready for use.
