Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada is seeking a Computer Modeling & Simulation Staff Specialist/Engineer to perform advanced CAE analyses on military vehicles and subsystems. You will work in small teams, develop models, and support design engineers with simulation-based decisions.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3–5 years in CAE, with travel of up to 15% (Canada/US/international). Onsite work in London, Canada, with competitive salary and security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of CAE experience in automotive/defense/aerospace.
• Experience with FEA, CFD and fatigue analyses.
• Willingness to travel (10% Canada, 5% US & International).

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced computer simulations of military vehicles and subsystems.
• Conduct research of new simulation techniques applicable to GDLS-C products.
• Perform vehicle mobility studies and structural analysis.
• Create advanced control system models to evaluate algorithms.
• Develop in-house software to solve dynamic problems.
• Write technical reports.
• Provide CAE support to design engineers during development.
