Job summary

CDH Detroit Inc. is seeking a CAE Engineer – Technical Support for Virtual Models to assist automotive customers in using distributed virtual models and GNS software in safety analyses.

The role includes product demonstrations, interfacing with clients and Germany-based developers, and supporting smooth transition to deployment. Michigan/home-office or Bloomfield Hills options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master's preferred.
• At least 5 years’ CAE vehicle safety analysis experience.
• Knowledge of passive safety design regulatory requirements (FMVSS, ECE, NCAP).
• Hands-on CAE experience in LS-Dyna is required.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing between clients, support team and developers in Germany.
• Conduct occupant and pedestrian protection simulations using virtual models.
• Support trial installations to demonstrate performance of CDH software.
• Present in-depth product demonstrations on-site and via web.
• Maintain knowledge of application and development roadmap with product management.
• Ensure smooth transition to solutions delivery after license activation.
