Job summary

Haworth in Holland, MI is seeking a paid Tailored Solutions Engineering Intern for onsite work at the corporate headquarters. You’ll join a 12-week summer program with around 50 fellow interns, tackling meaningful projects and attending workshops, including NeoCon exposure and AI-enabled business tools.

As an intern you may support either an Inquiry Role dealing with dealer requests or a Design Role for CAD-based product design, working in teams of 4–5; CAD skills and BOM data handling are

Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering Design, Design Technology, or Mechanical Engineering with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work On-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.
• 3-D CAD skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of exciting projects. Two possibilities: Inquiry Role (high-volume dealer interactions, determine feasibility, cost and boundary conditions, coordinate with test lab).
• Design Role in engineering the dealer's request, using CAD and BOM data, delivering 45–50 new products daily.
• Collaborate in teams of 4–5 per project and engage with suppliers as needed.
