Job summary

Airbus Americas Customer Services, Inc. is seeking a Retrofit Solutions Engineer (Contract) in the Mobile, AL area.

You will apply aerospace engineering principles to deliver cabin retrofit solutions, manage all technical and project aspects, and provide on-site liaison support for customer airlines and MRO facilities. Responsibilities include design engineering, program management, certification planning, and direct on-site support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines (mechanical/aerospace/electrical).
• 0–3 years of engineering experience; related technical discipline accepted.
• Proficient CAD skills and ability to read/modify complex cabin designs.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering of cabin retrofit solutions from global architecture to detailed design.
• Manage projects, stakeholders, and subcontractors to deliver modifications on schedule.
• Develop certification plans and support regulatory processes for aircraft modifications.
