Job summary

Airbus Americas Customer Services, Inc. seeks a Cabin Upgrade Project Engineer (Contract) to bridge engineering design and execution. Lead scope definition, manage subcontractors, and mitigate risks ensuring on-time, on-budget cabin retrofit solutions and SB embodiment.

Strong communication with stakeholders is essential. Ideal candidates have CAD experience (CATIA), project management background, and familiarity with Service Bulletins and aircraft modification cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautic/Civil/Electrical) or related field.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Direct exposure to project or program engineering methodologies.
• Experience with aircraft cabin modifications and service bulletins is preferred.
• Strong CAD skills and ability to interpret complex drawings.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines for cabin retrofit programs.
• Manage subcontractors, track milestones, and control scope changes.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and translate updates for non-technical audiences.
• Oversee engineering drawings and kit definition, ensuring cost and time targets.
• Support regulatory and certification planning for airworthiness compliance.
