TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Student Associate – Business Analyst for the DeKalb, IL area. You will support Thermoforming leadership with data collection, reporting, and strategic initiatives in a multi-site manufacturing context.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a curiosity for data analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Interest in manufacturing, business operations, data analytics.
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support data collection, tracking, analysis, and reporting for Thermoforming initiatives.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliation across internal systems to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain business reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations for leadership.
• Use Excel and analytical tools to organize and present information.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and executive materials for reviews.
• Track key metrics, milestones, and action items.
• Maintain accuracy and organization of documentation and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information.
• Identify opportunities to simplify reporting and improve data accuracy.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
