Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Building/Stationary Engineer-SRO to operate and maintain complex HVAC, boiler, and related systems across our nationwide portfolio.

Under limited supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with contractors while upholding safety policies. The role requires four years of journey-level experience and a universal CFC license, plus appropriate certifications and reliability.

Qualifications

• Four years of journey-level experience operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/boiler equipment or a combination of training, education and experience with a universal CFC License.
• Completion of the Union’s Supervision for Chief/Assistant Chief Engineers.
• Apprenticeships, Technical Program Certifications, or prior military training in BAS/CUP operations preferred; knowledge of repair methods.
• Knowledge of operating principles, efficiency optimization and compliance for HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to use computerized energy management software and basic arithmetic; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, valves and steam distribution.
• Maintain refrigerant systems, condensers, evaporators and air conditioning.
• Service pumps and piping for brines and other liquids; maintain air systems.
• Maintain electrical motors and engines powering equipment.
• Maintain life-safety equipment and building automation systems.
