Job summary

RealManage Elevated Onsite is seeking an Onsite Building Engineer to maintain and operate building systems, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance across facilities.

The role includes planning maintenance, supervising staff, managing procurement and inventory, and coordinating with the Community Director and HOA Board to deliver reliable, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• Full working knowledge of AC maintenance, gas water heater services, and irrigation of grounds servicing and programming.
• Pool maintenance certification is required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the work of the maintenance department.
• Oversee procurement and inventory of maintenance and pool supplies with the Community Director.
• Oversee all room set-ups and event preparations.
• Report maintenance activities with weekly summaries and improvements to the Community Director.
• Ensure Clubhouse areas comply with OSHA, Fire, and Health Department standards.
• Train, supervise, and coordinate daily maintenance staff activities.
• Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance for clubhouse equipment and facilities; coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain records of maintenance costs and annual budget; be on-call for emergencies.
• Attend HOA Board meetings to provide project updates and insights.

Role Summary

The Onsite Building Engineer is responsible for building systems and their maintenance, operation, and repair. They ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and compliantly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the work of the maintenance department
• Manage procurement and inventory of all maintenance and pool supplies, including parts and chemicals, coordinating purchases with the Community Director as needed
• Oversee all room set‑ups
• Report maintenance activities, recommendations, and updates regularly to the Community Director, including weekly summaries and suggested improvements
• Ensure Clubhouse areas comply with cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, Fire, and Health Department requirements
• Train, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of maintenance staff, including providing coverage as needed
• Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all clubhouse equipment and facilities, including fire protection systems, mechanical tasks, and coordination with vendors and service providers
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance costs and materials, and develop and manage the annual maintenance budget
• Remain available on an "on-call" basis for emergency situations
• Attend Board Executive and HOA Board meetings to provide updates on maintenance projects and related issues
