RealManage Elevated Onsite is hiring an Onsite Building Engineer in Hollywood, FL. The role focuses on maintaining building systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, with an annual salary in the mid six-figures including comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in high-rise or hotel engineering, strong leadership skills, and a valid Driver's License. This full-time position requires on-site work, with duties ranging from preventive maintenance to board

Qualifications

• Full working knowledge of AC maintenance, gas water heater services, and irrigation of grounds servicing and programming.
• Minimum 5 years of high-rise condominium and/or hotel engineering experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• People management experience
• SIRS project management experience
• Excellent people skills: well-spoken and professional
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Driver's License and clear driving record

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the work of the maintenance department
• Manage procurement and inventory of all maintenance and pool supplies, including parts and chemicals
• Oversee all room set-ups
• Report maintenance activities and updates to the Community Director
• Ensure clubhouse areas comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Train, supervise, and coordinate maintenance staff
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for clubhouse equipment
• Maintain records of maintenance costs and develop the annual budget
• Remain available on an on-call basis for emergencies
• Attend HOA Board meetings to provide updates on maintenance projects

Role Summary

The Onsite Building Engineer is responsible for building systems and their maintenance, operation, and repair. They ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and compliantly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the work of the maintenance department


• Manage procurement and inventory of all maintenance and pool supplies, including parts and chemicals, coordinating purchases with the Community Director as needed


• Oversee all room set‑ups


• Report maintenance activities, recommendations, and updates regularly to the Community Director, including weekly summaries and suggested improvements


• Ensure Clubhouse areas comply with cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, Fire, and Health Department requirements


• Train, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of maintenance staff, including providing coverage as needed


• Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all clubhouse equipment and facilities, including fire protection systems, mechanical tasks, and coordination with vendors and service providers


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance costs and materials, and develop and manage the annual maintenance budget


• Remain available on an "on-call" basis for emergency situations


• Utilize personal vehicle and maintenance cart for transportation


• Attend Board Executive and HOA Board meetings to provide updates on maintenance projects and related issues
