Job summary

BravoTECH seeks an experienced Boiler Operator / Building Engineer to support operations at an industrial facility in Cordova, IL. This on-site role involves operating boilers, utility systems, HVAC, plumbing and electrical equipment while maintaining safe, efficient facility operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 4–5 years of related building engineering or utility experience. Must be able to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts and lift 50 lbs; boiler operator

Ability to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts.
Experience with boilers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, start up, maintain, and shut down boilers and utility systems.
Monitor water chemistry and water treatment systems.
Operate plant computer control systems and respond to equipment data.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
Maintain logs of operations and maintenance activities.
Identify safety concerns and equipment issues and report them.
Maintain clean and safe plant facilities.
Follow safety procedures and building codes.
